Great, but I hope its more like the iPhone app soon

I used the iPhone version and decided to buy the Mac version to include all my photos. Unfortunately, the Mac version doesnt have all the same layouts and doesnt (as far as I can find) have any of the filter effects either. Good, but wish it had as much function as the iPhone version.

This is a bargain at 0.99 USD. Im using it for website development, and the need for a quick collage. You get a lot of App for your money, with Diptic. For the next update Im hoping they add some landscape frames, to add to the square box ones that are included. Landscape frames can be used for banners, and in Wordpress post header graphics. Those options would be a fine addition to this product.

I never write reviews, but this one compelled me to do it finally. We try to post as many pictures online as we can to help us with our online marketing and provide information to our clients… its a great, easy way to post once, but be able to include several different shots of the same topic. It was a snap… I was able to post 4 photos in a blink, where it would have previously taken me 20 minutes to do it before. Best 99 cents Ive ever spent on an app! Thanks!

Diptic is a framing app the covers the bases and then some… Id like to send email in addition to sending to facebook and whatnot.

The Diptic app provides a simple interface for creating layouts of multiple photographs, while allowing customization of each photograph within the layout. I have two small kids that never want to sit next to each other for a photograph, so I use Diptic to create collages of photographs of my kids to share with family and friends. The application is simple and straightforward, with an easy learning curve. Highly recommended.

Terrible. All I wanted to do was combine two photos with a border as the app does. However it is impossible to show the entire image. Although the image scaling was at 1.00 and the aspect ratio was set to match the images, the sides of the pictures were still cut off, even when the borders were removed, and it was impossible to scale them down to show the full photo. A complete waste if you dont want the edges cut off. Also, when you click on a photo to adjust it, the option panel annoyingly automatically switches to the photo tab, even if you are working in the layout or finish tab.

I have other apps to do this type of work (Photoshop, etc.) but not as easily. Had a project that needed photos in a circle and . . . Im finished. Export is easy. You may have to experiment with sizes to find what works for you. Since Im going to a print shop, bigger is better and size is not an issue. In short, exactly what I need for quick and easy photo collages.

The only thing holding this little app back from 5 stars is the lack of access to your iPhoto/Aperture library.

I use this for work pretty regularly. It’s quick, easy to use, and does a great job. If you think this would be useful to have, then, for the price, it’s a no-brainer. Plus, they still seem to update it pretty regularly.

This app would be very handy if it were iPhoto integrated.

Works as advertised. Feature suggestion: I would like to be able to select 1 photo have have the application split it into the various frames. I would definately like to be able to choose how many frames I want to utilize. The fixed number of frames is very limiting.

This is a nice little app. it is quick to layout a collage and build some fun arrangements. However, it is a little doggy. The performance and reaction of the sliders changes to the image change are noticably slow. Great value! Wish it performed a little faster.

I like the app, it does its job nicely; however, the color space/size/file extension management could be wayyy better. I dont find entirely good the way it works with images of different size. I would love to be able to decide whether its 8/16 bits coding.

It’s great, fast & easy. I needed to make a collage, and remembered it was a top seller on the app store. For 0.99, I thought it was worth testing. Turns out it’s fast and really easy to use. I’m quite impressed, as I was able to create & color correct a quick 3 photo collage much faster than I could in photoshop.

It crashes sometimes!!!

Adding 6 low-res photos brings my 2013 iMac almost to a complete halt. Also, the scale slider does not work. Though it implies the default view is 100%, it isn’t. You have to drag to the right, then back to 1.0 to get a full view of your image.

Access to iPhoto or Aperature would be great … Ability to create our own template design, great or in the absence of that, more options. A lot more!
